Self-Help Enterprises has an opening for an Administrative Analyst in our Strategic Partnership team.

As the Administrative Analyst, you will work directly with SHE partner cities and counties to prepare grant applications and environmental reports, identify housing needs, access federal, state, and local resources, and implement housing rehabilitation, homebuyer assistance, and other related efforts.

Responsibilities


The Administrative Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough research on housing trends, demographics, and community needs to inform program development and decision-making.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing housing programs through data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability in accordance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
  • Interpret Government Statutes, Regulations, Guidelines, and Policies to ensure compliance with housing initiatives.
  • Monitor Grants, ensure Program Compliance, and manage Disbursements efficiently.
  • Prioritize workload independently, meet deadlines, and adjust to shifting priorities as needed.
  • Review projects for adherence to Federal, State, or Local regulatory requirements.
  • Administer and develop grant programs to support housing initiatives effectively.
  • Develop and oversee contracts and budgets for programs, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with funding directives.
  • Compile comprehensive reports and request funds for submission to Federal and State agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the application process for Federal and State funding opportunities to support housing projects.
  • Proactively seek grant funding opportunities to enhance housing initiatives and ensure sustainability.
  • Conduct public presentations and community outreach to promote housing programs and initiatives.



Must Haves


  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local statutes, regulations, guidelines, and policies related to housing initiatives and nonprofit organizations.
  • Previous experience administering grants, including application processes, compliance monitoring, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, partners, community members, and funding agencies through presentations, reports, and outreach activities.
  • Ability to analyze data, trends, and program performance metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations for program improvement.
  • Proficiency in budget management, financial tracking, and fiscal accountability to ensure effective utilization of resources and compliance with funding directives.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment to successfully implement housing projects and initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks such as grant applications, financial reporting, and compliance documentation to ensure program integrity and accountability.
  • Experience developing and overseeing contracts with vendors, service providers, and partners to support housing projects and initiatives.
  • Capacity to identify challenges, develop creative solutions, and implement strategies to address issues and overcome obstacles in housing program implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, volunteers, and community partners to achieve common goals and objectives in housing and community development efforts.
