Project Manager – Real Estate Development
Salary: Project Manager $5,169 – $9,746 monthly

Self-Help Enterprises has an opening for a Project Manager in the Real Estate Development program.
As a Project Manager, you will work on affordable housing development projects throughout the eight-county service territory. You will coordinate all aspects of development, including involvement with the selection of the design team and general contractors, application for project funding, including tax credits and other housing sources, construction management, and coordination with the mutual self-help housing program and/or the asset management team.
Depending on skill, education, and experience, the right candidate may be hired at any level of Project Manager (1, 2, Sr.)
Responsibilities
Assist in the selection of sites for future affordable housing development, including:
- market research,
- financing proformas,
- operating budgets,
- environmental review,
- due diligence, and
- risk assessment.
Must Haves
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Experience with budget management and development proformas.
- Ability to problem solve and brainstorm creative solutions in challenging situations.
- Leadership skills and success in related professional fields.
- General construction/real estate development experience.
- Capability to work effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Four-year college/university education or equivalent experience at the project management level.
