Project underway to bring city water to Monterey Park residents

The Monterey Park Tract Community Services District held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the kick-off of the waterline connection project with the City of Ceres (Stanislaus County). This project will include a 5-mile water main, a storage tank, and a pump station, which will bring city water to Monterey Park residents who currently have contaminated wells. For the last seven years, Self-Help Enterprises has been working with the Monterey Park Tract Community Services District providing technical assistance and securing funding for this project.
